Revista de Patología Respiratoria is the official scientific publication of the Madrid Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (NEUMOMADRID), which is the main source of funding for the journal.

The RPR journal firmly supports the open access initiative and does not charge authors for the review, processing, evaluation and publication of articles, and all published works are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
